Volunteering

How Do I get started?

To apply as a Volunteer for Books for hope, please fill out the "Volunteer Now" Form linked above. Volunteering will primarily consist of collecting books that are in Perfect to fair condition and/or raising funds for Books4Hope. An example of an hour of service could be going around collecting used books in your neighborhood, or even handing out fliers.

Why Volunteer?

Eligability Towards The PVSA

The President's Volunteer service award is a National, Civil Award bestowed by the President of the United States. Volunteers who earn this award will receive a personalized certificate, congratulatory letter signed by the current president, and the option to choose between a  pin, coin, or medallion. To ensure our volunteers get approved by the government for the award, we require that Volunteers list out the dates and times they volunteered, as well as writing a brief sentence on the activities they did. For more information, please contact books4hope2@gmail.com and visit https://presidentialserviceawards.gov.
